ABOUT ME
My
name is Jenny, and I live in Lancaster,
Pennsylvania. In this area it seems like
everyone sews and quilts, and there's a fabric
shop on just about every corner. It's a
stitcher's dream come true, or I suppose a
nightmare if you love to amass great quantities
of fabric!
I'm from a family of six kids, and we could
never afford new clothes. Hence my father
decided
that his daughters should be good
Lancasterian females and stitch their own.
Amazingly, I did not rebel, and I've been
stitching ever since.
I love sewing kids' clothes. I also enjoy hand
embroidery and creating my own patchwork
designs. I work hard to create quality clothing:
Fabric is prewashed to prevent shrinkage, and
all clothing is stitched on my four-thread
serger to professionally finish seams and
prevent raveling. I also top-stitch as needed
and bodices on dresses and tops are always
lined.
